What We Do
Mano Amiga Philippines now has a fourteen-year track record of uplifting low-income communities through increased student learning outcomes, increased sustainable livelihood opportunities, and improved health and well-being for families.
Scholarships
Education is the most powerful tool we can use to change the world. Providing scholarship support to families from low-income communities gives them access to high quality and holistic education, giving them the means to transform their lives and break out of poverty.
Sustainable Livelihood
We provide access to sustainable livelihood, employment opportunities, and skills development training to the communities we’re helping.
Community Development Programs
Our programs focused on Values formation, Health and Well-being, Literacy, Arts, and Sports enable volunteers and companies to give back, inspire, share their talents and passion with the students and families of Mano Amiga.
Teacher Training
Our teacher training and coaching programs provide both Private and Public school teachers access to skills, innovation tools, and support they need in order to thrive in the 21st century landscape.
Social Advocacy
Our thought leadership conferences, and communication campaigns generate awareness and concrete action for causes that seek to create a more equitable and informed society.
Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)
Mano Amiga is a leading expert on Social and emotional learning (SEL) - the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.
Digital Empowerment
We believe that the Internet is an empowering tool. Our Digital Literacy programs aim to help adults and children alike to maximize the enabling power of technology, creating responsible and discerning digital citizens.
STEM
Students need a strong foundation in STEM subjects in order to thrive and be successful in the innovation-driven age. Through the help of our partners, it is our goal to make STEM more accessible to disadvantaged communities, and help ensure that children from all socio-economic backgrounds would have the opportunity to find their passion and excel in STEM.
