The Raising Readers Program aims to enhance the literacy skills of twenty-five children aged 7 to 16 at Nayon ng Kabataan in Mandaluyong City through immersive and interactive learning experiences. The program incorporates storytelling, drama, arts and crafts, and interactive games to build essential reading, writing, and communication skills.

Raising Leaders is a comprehensive leadership and capacity-building program designed to empower youth participants, aged 15-18 years old, through targeted training and mentorship. By providing workshops, access to resources, and guidance, we aim to develop future leaders who can contribute positively to their communities. Additionally, the program offers scholarship and school placement support to selected participants, helping them pursue higher education and ultimately make a greater impact on society.

This program has been the unique way of PVM to give daycare students from underserved communities their “mini-moments of happiness”. From implementing the program to the Lower School (Kindergarten-Grade 2) of Mano Amiga Academy the program has since expanded to the ECCD Centers of Taguig City. Which was done through teacher training, distribution of guide to meaningful play, and game days.

In 2025, more than 300 daycare workers in Taguig participated in the training, indirectly benefiting more than 14,000 children aged two to four. In addition, 135 daycare students directly participated in Game Days.

The goal of the STEM Warriors Club is to create interest and opportunities for Filipino students in STEM Education. It also aims to  provide Filipino learners access to a community that promotes and nurtures their love and interest in STEM. Through enriching and informative videos, activities, and resources on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics in the Philippines, learners are encouraged to explore what STEM has to offer.

Scholars Club is a program designed to help scholars grow as thoughtful leaders and engaged members of their communities. Through interactive workshops, discussions, and activities, scholars develop leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills while exploring important social issues and community challenges. The club also provides opportunities for mentorship, career exposure, and values-based goal setting, helping scholars discover their purpose and prepare for future pathways. Volunteers can lead a Scholars Club session where they share their expertise, experiences, and skills with the scholars.

The Junior Leaders Summit is a training and development program, where we empower young minds to develop leadership skills and spearhead sustainability efforts, in order to nurture the next generation of changemakers that our world needs. Through mentorship from experienced professionals across the MPIC group and participation in engaging activities related to business, management, and leadership, students gain valuable insights and real-world perspectives. The summit helps participants strengthen their leadership skills, explore their passion for sustainability, and connect with mentors who can guide them as they grow into responsible and purpose-driven leaders.

Teachers’ Day Off is a volunteer-led program where facilitators step in to conduct fun and engaging half-day classes for students. Volunteers design and lead interactive sessions tailored to different learning levels and interests, giving teachers a well-deserved break while students enjoy unique learning experiences. Through creative activities and hands-on lessons, volunteers help create a lively and enriching environment for the scholars.

Christmas Around the World is a festive volunteer program where facilitators host country-themed classrooms and introduce students to how different cultures celebrate Christmas. Through stories, games, traditions, and hands-on activities, volunteers share unique customs, food, and holiday practices from their chosen country. The experience allows students to learn about global cultures while celebrating the spirit of Christmas in a fun, interactive, and meaningful way.

Career Day is an event designed to help students explore different academic pathways and future career opportunities. In line with Mano Amiga Academy’s mission to equip learners for brighter futures, the program exposes Junior High School students to real-world insights through panel discussions with professionals and students currently in senior high school and college. The event also features booths from different senior high schools, allowing students to learn more about their programs and offerings. Through these experiences, students are encouraged to reflect on their interests, strengths, advocacies, and aspirations as they begin envisioning their future professions.
